5. INSTALLING
Initial startup
First, find the best position for your charging station, consider the nearest outdoor outlet, as the station must
be connected to it. Make sure the ground where you place the charging station is flat, dry, free of magnetic
fields and free of obstacles in front.
Check the lawn area regularly and remove stones, branches, wires and objects that can damage the robot and
its blades.
Assembly and positioning of the charging station
1. Plug the charging unit (22) into the base plate (21) of the charging station.
2. Press the charging unit (22) down so that it is firmly seated in the base plate.
3. Secure the charging unit (22) to the base plate (21) with the four included screws (19).
Place the charging station (17) on a flat surface near an outlet.
The charging station must have at least 2 m of space in front to ensure that the robotic lawnmower can return
to the base station without any problems. There must also be a distance of at least 1 m from the rear end to
the corner of the perimeter.
After placing and connecting the boundary wire, you need to secure the charging station.
Make sure the charging station (17) is positioned at an appropriate distance from ponds, swimming pools and
steps. We recommend installing a cover for the charging station (17) to protect it from weather damage.
Installation of boundary wire
Before starting the robot, the boundary wire (11) must be installed around the lawn area to be covered by the
robot :
1.Mark the lawn area with the hooks (13).
2. Bury the boundary wire (11) in the ground (max. depth 5cm). While working, the robot goes over the
boundary wire about 20 - 30 cm before turning around and looking for a new path. Install the boundary wire
properly to prevent the robot from hitting foreign objects and damaging it.
3. For initial installation, we recommend marking the boundary wire (11) with the hooks (13) in case later
corrections need to be made. The lawn area must be bordered as a single enclosed area (fig. 1).
