The safety, operating and maintenance specifications of
the manufacturer, as well as the dimensions specified in
the technical data, must be observed.
Please observe that our equipment was not designed
with the intention of use for commercial or industrial
purposes. We assume no guarantee if the equipment
is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for
equivalent work.
The product is intended for use by adults. Children
over the age of 16 may use the tool except under su-
pervision. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
caused by an improper use or incorrect operation of
this product.
5. General safety information
m WARNING - Read all safety information, instruc-
tions, illustrations and technical data for this elec-
tric tool.
Failure to observe the following instructions can result in
serious injuries.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
• Check the product for perfect condition before each
use. If damage is found, the product must no longer
be used.
• If the product does not function properly or is dam-
aged, have it inspected and repaired immediately by
the after-sales service.
• This product is not designed to be operated by per-
sons (including children) with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or who have a lack of
experience and/or knowledge unless they are being
supervised by a person who is responsible for their
safety or they are receiving instruction about how
this product is to be used.
• Children must not be left unattended, to ensure they
do not play with the product.
6. Residual risks
The product has been built according to the state-of-
the-art and the recognised technical safety require-
ments. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been met,
some non-obvious residual risks may still remain.

• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety infor-
mation" and the "Proper use" together with the oper-
ating manual as a whole are observed.
• Do not use the product if it has been overloaded.
This may have caused damage that was not imme-
diately visible.
• Never use the product as a climbing aid or to trans-
port people, neither as a rolling board nor as a stool.
• Work on the product may only be carried out under
areas that are secured against falling!
• Only use the product on hard, level surfaces, not on
stairs or sloping terrain. Do not roll over objects.
• Never adjust the sitting or reclining position while
someone is on the product.
• Never grasp the steel side rails while sitting on the
product. This prevents the danger of crushing if your
fingers are in the shearing area in the event of a
fault.
• Never reach into the shearing area until the product
is fully unfolded in the lying position.
• Do not reach under the product when lying on it.
There is a danger of crushing if you touch the centre
wheels when rolling.
• The product is flammable. Keep the product away
from open flames (e.g. candles or smouldering cig-
arettes).
• Be careful when unfolding/collapsing the product.
Do not jam your hands or fingers.
• Check each screw connection for strength at regular
intervals.
• Do not misuse the product for purposes other than
those described in these instructions.
