• Press the switch lock button (3) (Fig. E).
• Release pressure on the switch button (2).
Switching off:
• Press and release the pressure on the switch button (2).
Each time the switch button (2) is pressed, an LED (LED) (10)
illuminates the work area.
INDICATOR LIGHT FOR VOLTAGE CONNECTION
There is a power light (4) on the rear of the handle housing,
which indicates by lighting up that the power tool has been
connected to the mains supply.
JIGSAW SPEED ADJUSTMENT
The speed of the jigsaw motor is adjusted by turning and setting
the speed control knob (1) to the desired position. This allows the
speed of the power tool to be adapted to the characteristics of the
material being worked on. The speed adjustment range is from O
to 5.
The higher the number that appears on the perimeter of the dial (1)
(Fig. F), the higher the operating speed of the jigsaw.
BEVEL CUTTING FOOT ADJUSTMENT
The adjustable jigsaw foot allows bevel cutting from 0
ways).
• Loosen the foot fixing screws (6) using a hexagonal spanner.
• Move the foot (6) backwards and tilt left or right (up to 45
• Adjust the foot (6) to the desired angle, slide forward and secure
by tightening the fixing screws (Fig. G).
The angle of the foot can be read on the angle scale located on the
foot. Once the adjustment is complete, remove the hex key and
place it in its storage location CUTTING
• Place the front of the foot (6) flat on the material to be cut.
• Start the jigsaw and wait until it reaches the maximum set speed.
• Move the jigsaw slowly guiding the blade along the pre-
determined cutting line.
• When cutting along a curved line, guide the jigsaw very gently.
Cutting should be done evenly, taking care not to overload the
jigsaw. Excessive pressure exerted on the blade will act as a brake
on the movement of the blade, which will have a detrimental effect
on cutting performance.
If, during operation, the entire surface of the jigsaw foot is not
against the surface of the workpiece but is raised above it,
there is a danger of breaking the saw blade.
CUTTING A HOLE IN THE MATERIAL
• Drill a 10 mm diameter hole in the material.
• Insert the saw blade into the hole and start cutting from the hole
made.
METAL CUTTING / TYPES OF SAW BLADES
For cutting through metal, suitable blades with a higher number of
teeth should be used.
When cutting through metal, a suitable coolant must be used.
Cutting metal without cooling leads to accelerated blade wear. The
table below provides an indication of the blade selection:

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before carrying
out any installation, adjustment, repair or operation.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• It is recommended to clean the device immediately after each
use.
• Do not use water or other liquids for cleaning.
• The unit should be cleaned with a dry piece of cloth or blown with
low-pressure compressed air.

Scope of application
Soft steel, non-ferrous metals.
Non-ferrous metals, plastics.
Wood, wooden plywood.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, as these may
damage the plastic parts.
• Clean the ventilation slots in the motor housing regularly to
prevent the unit from overheating.
• If the power cable is damaged, replace it with a cable of the same
characteristics. Refer this operation to a qualified specialist or have
the machine serviced. If excessive sparking occurs on the
commutator, have the condition of the motor carbon brushes
checked by a qualified person.
• Always store the device in a dry place out of the reach of children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Worn (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or cracked motor carbon
brushes must be replaced immediately. Always replace both
carbon brushes at the same time.
Only a qualified person should replace the carbon brushes
using original parts.
Any defects should be rectified by the manufacturer's authorised
service department.

Information on noise and vibration
The noise emission level of the equipment is described by: the
emitted sound pressure level L
(where K denotes measurement uncertainty). The vibrations
emitted by the unit are described by the vibration acceleration value
a
(where K is the measurement uncertainty). The sound pressure

accordance with EN 628412-11. The vibration level a
used for comparison of devices and for preliminary assessment of
vibration exposure.
The vibration level quoted is only representative of the basic use of
the unit. If the unit is used for other applications or with other work
tools, the vibration level may change. A higher vibration level will
be influenced by insufficient or too infrequent maintenance of the
unit. The reasons given above may result in increased vibration
exposure during the entire working period. In order to accurately
estimate vibration exposure, it is necessary to take into
account periods when the unit is switched off or when it is
switched on but not used for work. When all factors are
accurately estimated, the total vibration exposure may be
significantly lower.
In order to protect the user from the effects of vibration, additional
safety measures should be implemented, such as cyclical
maintenance of the machine and working tools, securing an
adequate hand temperature and proper work organisation.
