4. Installation mechanical
M6 Fastening the stabilizer bar

Now fasten bolts "3" with 30 Nm to fix the
stabilizer bar and secure the bolts with the
locknuts.
Important: both fastening bolts have to push on
the stabilizer bar (stabilizer bar has to protrude at
least 400 mm into the frame of the drive unit).
Make sure that the centre of the stabilizer, which
you marked, is still in the centre of the caravan or
trailer.
M7 Torque the PS and the drive units

Now tighten the 2 nuts "1" of clamping plate "A" of
the right and left PS drive unit with a torque of 20
Nm.
Please make sure the distance between the drive
rollers and the tyres has not changed and it is still
between 15 - 20 mm.
Now install the securing bolts "4" in the PS and
tightne with 40 Nm. Secure the bolts with the
provided counter nuts. These bolts are an additio-
nal protection against the slipping of the drive unit
along the vehicle chassis.
Now fasten bolts "2" with 20 Nm.
M8 Check
Finally please check the secure fit of all clamp-
fastenings and securing bolts.
