4. Installation mechanical
Place your caravan or trailer on a level surface.
Preferably a lifting ramp or an assembly pit. If you
use a car-jack, please make sure that the caravan
or trailer is secured with adequate supporting
blocks.
Working under the vehicle without
support and security measures can
cause danger to your life!
Take all parts out of the packing and arrange
them on the floor in front of you.
M1 Determine ideal position
Fig. 8.1
Determine the ideal position in front of and
behind the axle. When doing this, please note the
following:
- the distance between the lower edges of the
chassis and the floor (min. 160 mm !)
- Frame bottom line and ground
(recommended ground clearance min. 120 mm)
- additional parts fixed on the trailer, such as
waste-water pipes, spare wheel, etc.
M2 Mounting Pivoting System (PS)
Fig. 6.1
Mount the PS in a way that the emergency
release points in the opposaite direction (fig. 4.1).
Use clamping plate "A" to mount the PS with the
help of the two nuts "1" on the frame. Tighten the
nuts by hand. The PS is now attached to the
chassis.
Position the PS on the chassis, as shown in fig.
4.1. The distance from the front of the stabilizer
bar to the wheel should be approx. 200 mm.
M3 Drive Unit (B) Fig. 6.1
Position the left or right drive unit "B" in the slot
provided on the PS, fasten plate "C" using the 4
bolts "2" and tighten the bolts by hand.
Align the drive unit in a way that the outside of the
drving roller "I" aligns with the outside of the
wheel (fig. 4.1).

M4 Mounting stabilizer bar
Fig. 5.1 + 5.2
ATTENTION!
The length of the stabilizer bar has to be adjusted
to the vehicle in accordance with the mounting
dimensions given under pic. 8.1 and 9.1. This
corresponds to distance F (fig. 8.1), minimum ±
32 cm !!
If the stabilizer bar does not enter in the square
axle of the drive unit for at least 400 mm, you
must use a (optional available) longer stabilizer
bar. Otherwise the optimal function cannot be
guaranteed.
If the enclosed stabilizer bar is too long, it must be
shortened correspondingly.
Determine the exact centre of the stabilizer and
mark it.
Insert the stabilizer bar into the rectangular tube
of the already installed drive unit.
Now place the other drive unit "B" above the other
end of the stabilizer rod and also place this drive
unit in the provided slot on the PS. Fasten the
drive unit "B" using plate "C" and the 4 bolts "2"
Only tighten the bolts by hand.
Make sure the two drive units are pivoted out of
position.
M5 Orientation
Fig. 8.1 to 8.3 and 9.2
The two sides of the moving drive must now be
oriented in such a way, that the required installa-
tion dimensions according to fig. 8.1 and 9.2 are
observed. In tilted-away position, the distance
between the driving rollers and the tyres must be
approx. 15 - 20 mm. Use the wooden spacer
blocks as a measure (Fig. 9.2).
ATTENTION!
For adjusting the distance the wheel must be
under full load and the caravan must stand on a
flat ground.
