Function and features

The counter compact CP-1 is a two-channel preset counter with inte-
grated photoelectric sensor.
• It detects objects without contact,
• counts the object pulses (2 preset counters),
• displays the current counter values,
• switches the transistor outputs of the counters according to the set
parameters.
Sensing system:
Retro-reflective sensor / laser, with polarisation filter (DZ2001),
• range: 10m (referred to prismatic reflector with ∅ 80mm or
50 x 100mm).
Laser radiation; laser protection class 2.
Do not look directly into the beam!
The enclosed labels (warning laser) must be applied in
close proximity to the unit.
Diffuse reflection sensor / infrared (DZ2006),
• range: 600mm (value referred to white paper 200 x 200mm).
• Automatic adjustment to the target object by means of the teach-
in function.
• Function check: LED indication in the case of an uncertain object
detection (e.g. maladjustment, soiling of the lenses).
Evaluation system:
2 preset counters with one transistor output each
• Counter 1 counts until the preset value 1 has been reached and
switches output 1 according to the set parameters for range 1.
• Counter 2 counts until to the preset value 2 has been reached and
switches output 2 according to the set parameters for range 2.
• Reset (by means of the front button or +24 V DC to pin 5) sets
both counters to 0 (or to the preset value).
• Counting interruption: +24 V DC to pin 1 interrupts the counting
of both counters for the duration of the control pulse.
