9. Screw two screws 11 a few turns into the upper wall plugs 10.
10. Route the power cable upwards and place on the extraction hood.
11. Hang the extraction hood on the screws 11.
12. Place a spirit level on the extraction hood in the transverse direction on the
wall. Compensate inclination by moving the hood in the elongated holes and
fully tighten both of the screws 11.
13. From the inside of the hood, install two screws 11 through the round
holes and fully tighten. They are used to secure the hood against
inadvertent removal of the hood (e.g. when cleaning).
14. Install the incandescent lamp 6 in the socket in the inside of the
extraction hood.
15. Reinsert the filter panels 1a and close.
16. For extraction mode: push the exhaust air hose (not in the scope of
delivery) onto the exhaust air connection 4 and attach using a hose
clamp.
17. Insert the mains plug into the socket.

If the hood is to be used in circulating air mode, make sure that

the upper ventilation slots are not covered by the base of the wall
unit. The extraction hood must protrude forwards over the wall
unit so that the purified air can flow out unobstructed through the
ventilation slots.
Observe the instruction manual for your gas cooker! If a greater

clearance than 65 cm is specified, this must be taken into
consideration.
1. In order to position the appliance exactly above the cooker initially make
a guide line on the wall (vertical line, with the aid of a spirit level or plumb
line, from the centre of the cooker to the underside of the wall unit).
Make sure that the locations marked on the wall are not visible after
installation.
