5 Start-up

of the Micro Data Center Level A

5.1 Positioning the Micro Data Center Level A
The Micro Data Center Level A must be positioned on
a level floor. The floor at the Micro Data Center
Level A's installation site must be able to bear the
load of the Micro Data Center Level A, including the
interior installations.
After the Micro Data Center Level A has been finally
positioned, the enclosed plinth trim must be fastened.
The assembly screws are located in the Micro Data
Center Level A's set of auxiliaries. A clearance of 400
mm from the climate control unit's inlet and outlet
must be kept free.

5.2 Cooling

5.2.1 Climate control unit –
condensate discharge
The tube for the condensate is connected inside the
Micro Data Center Level A to the evaporator housing
of the cooling unit and need to be installed without
bending. At the end of the tube a siphon is connec-
ted. The horizontal part of the of the siphon is laid
through the cable duct device. For this it is necessary
to drill a hole through the cable duct device (necessa-
ry also for cable penetration).
Fill the pipe elbow with water as barrier for smoke
gases. Attached you will find a socket which can be
glued to the outside part of the Micro Data Center
Level A as well as a cable strap to fix the siphon.

5.2.2 Connecting the climate control unit
to the mains
In order to commission the climate control unit, you
will need to connect it to the mains. All other parame-
ters have been set the factory.
An earthing pin plug is available for connecting the
climate control unit to the mains.
The power cable must be routed outwards through
the cable entry on the side.
The climate control unit has been subjected to a test
run at the factory.
Start the climate control unit again before populating
the Micro Data Center Level A, in order to ensure it
works properly.
