Intended use
As required, this device may be converted via simple replacement of the included attachments into
grass shears, bush shears, or into a ground hook.
Hints for your work with the tool
The shrub trimmer cuts ornamental shrubs and light undergrowth or bushes. The device is also well-
suited for ornamental cuts as, for example, for the care of graves.
The battery-powered grass and shrub shear can not and should not replace your hedge shears.
They are exclusively designed to trim and cut back ornamental shrubs and brush -wood with a low
wood thickness. Any other use is not deemed appropriate and the manufacturer/ supplier is not liable
for damages resulting from such use.
The tool is not intended for commercial use.
The grass shears allow for clean cuts of lawn edges or hardly accessible lawn areas.
The ground hook (cultivator) is used to loosen, aerate, and weed cultivated ground and closely po-
sitioned cultures while sparing roots and for preparation prior to planting. It also allows peat, fertiliser.
and compost to be worked into the soil.
As the device is operated with one hand please be careful not to move the other hand near
the running cutting tools.
Each type of use other than those given in these instructions for use can damage the machine and
cause serious risk to the user.

Residual dangers
Residual risks always remain even if the hedge trimmer is used properly. The hedge trimmer's design
can entail the following hazards:
