When not using the flash unit for an extended
period, test flash it occasionally to help maintain
capacitor performance.

When the glass surfaces of the viewfinder or
the tens are smudged with fingerprint stains or
other marks, promptly clean them by lightly
wiping them with some lens-cleaning tissue,
moistened with lens-cleaning solution.
Remove
dirt and dust from these surfaces with a blower

shooting in extreme cold, take such measures that
will help keep your batteries warm or carry a
spare set of batteries with you.
One advisable
method would be to keep the batteries warm
inside your pocket.

Staining of battery terminals with sweat or
grease can result in poor electrical contact.
Wipe
the terminals with a dry cloth before putting the
batteries into service.
