HOUR METER
The BR-S605E is provided with a comprehensive hour meter
that can display estimated working times for the capstan,
drum, and reels, as well as total operating time. Follow the
steps below to call up and check the hour meter on the counter
display.

@ Press the EJECT button to eject the cassette.
@ Press the MENU and the EJECT buttons together. The
display will change to the Function Select (2) mode.
© Press the MENU and the EJECT buttons together again.
The hour meter will appear.
@ Estimated working times for "P: Power on", c: Capstan", "d:
Drum" and "r: Reel" can be displayed in turn by pressing the
"IN/+SHIFT" and "OUT/-SHIFT" buttons.
@ Press the MENU button. The display will switch back to the
tape counter.
