10. Removing the fitting
NOTE
Rest time for anti-slip surface
The supplied adapter plate feature a non-slip surface.
This requires a settling time for it to be fully effective.
1. After installing the adapter plate, wait five hours
before continuing with the installation.
2. If you need to finish installing beforehand, do not
turn the handle as far as it will go.

16. Remove the cover with the tool.

17. For 7 mm spindle: attach the adapter sleeve to the
spindle.

18. Insert the fitting into the adapter plate.

19. Rotate the fitting until it is straight.

20. Screw the fitting firmly onto the adapter plate to
prevent it from twisting.

21. Place the cover on the fitting.

22. Place the outside handles on the fittings.
23. Place the covers on the escutcheon bases.

24. Fasten the grub screws firmly onto both handles
(TX15, torque 5.0 Nm).

Fitting is now installed.
10. Removing the fitting
1.5 mm hexagonal wrench available.

1. Remove the fitting in the reverse order to installa-
tion.
2. Insert a 1.5 mm hex key into the hole in the spindle
mount in the fitting.

3. Bend the hex key to the side where the hole is loc-
ated while pulling on the outside handle.

Fitting is now removed.
11. Replacing the batteries
NOTE
Malfunctions due to poor contact or different dis-
charge
Contact surfaces that are too small/contaminated or
different discharged batteries can lead to malfunc-
tions.
1. Only use batteries that are approved by
SimonsVoss.
2. Do not touch the contacts of the new batteries
with your hands.
3. Use clean and grease-free gloves.
4. Always replace all batteries at the same time.

1. Insert the special tool into the fitting's cover inlay.

2. Remove the cover with the tool.

3. Carefully bend the battery clip inwards to detach it.

4. Open the battery holder.

5. Remove the battery holder.

6. Remove the old batteries.

7. Insert the new batteries with the positive terminals
next to each other (type CR2450).

8. Put the battery holder back into place.

9. Reattach the battery clip.

10. Replace the cover on the fitting.
