IMpORTANT INfORMATION
Important information
The information and recommendations made here do not release the
fabricator from strict adherence to all applicable safety and environmental
regulations and the regulations of the trade inspectorate and employers'
liability insurance. These regulations always take precedence.
Additional work equipment, e.g. alcohol-based cleaners and other highly
flammable materials must be kept in a safe and well-ventilated location.
The RELAZZO screen system is not approved by the
Building Inspectorate, and for this reason is only
KG
designed as a screen for vertical application. The
screen is not suitable for free-standing, structural
purposes. Please observe the applicable local
building regulations.
It is recommended under extreme weather conditions (gales,
thunderstorms, sleet,...) that you do not remain near to the screen,
as it may not offer sufficient protection. In this case, there is risk of
personal injury or damage to property.
1. The aluminium frame must not come into contact with the ground,
as otherwise the surface could be damaged.
2. When constructing screen elements ensure that they are located
at a sufficient distance all from all plants, shrubs and trees.
If they are too closely in contact with these, this may have a
damaging effect and will prevent maintenance of the screen
element. In addition to this, dirt deposits and moss may form. In
particular hedges can exert high pressure on the screen elements
if left to grow uncontrolled.
3. Ground conditions

Stone bottoming

Slabs, composite stones and decking boards
4. The floor fixtures must be adjusted to the ground or subsoil
conditions. Various options are available as accessories to do this:
- Screw-on base plate
- Ground anchor that can be set in concrete
To do this, the screen must be permanently anchored to the
ground with the fixing elements specially designed for this. If fixed
incorrectly or insufficiently the screen may fall over and cause
personal injury or damage to property (see corresponding section
of these instructions).
5. Assembly of the parts at below 0° Celsius and in gusts of wind is
advised against due to an increased risk of the screen breaking or
possible personal injury or damage to property.
6. Generally the WPC profiles can be processed with all conventional
wood processing machines. Note the technical information in
these instructions relating to this.
7. The WPC profiles, produced from the material RAU-WOOD, is
tested for UV resistance.
8. If you are carrying out your building project on a slope, we
recommend a step-like arrangement of the individual elements.
This will give you an elegant appearance with perpendicular
elements.
9. When positioning several screens next to each other, they can be
connected to each other with additional connecting elements, and
this will therefore ensure even spacing.
10. The RELAZZO screen system is designed for all year round
outdoor use under normal weather conditions.
Speak to your local specialist about this.
