Testing the sensitivity

1. Replace the filter (1) upstream of the sensor.
2. Apply the gas from the test gas cylinder 50 ppm NH
±5 % with the gas supply adapter (2) to the sensor with
min. 0.5 L/min (see list of accessories on page 12).
The green LED at the sensing head must start flashing
within 5 minutes. The sensor signal in the test window is
50 ppm ±10 ppm. The flashing light changes to continuous
after max. 5 minutes.
The sensor is ok.

NOTICE
The sensitivity cannot be adjusted.
A multi-meter with max. value storage function can be
connected to the 0 V to 10 V signal cable at the junction box or
to at the control unit. The voltage value read in the measuring
range 0 V to 10 V corresponds to the measured concentration
in the 0 to 100 ppm NH

NOTICE
If the test window is no longer reached, the sensor must be
replaced.

Operation
1. Switch on the supply voltage at the control unit.
After activation or after an interruption of the supply voltage the
sensor must warm up for a defined period. This is indicated by
the LED flashing green/yellow.

The warmed up fault-free operation of the sensing head is
indicated after max. 30 minutes by the green LED being
