AUTO REVERSE OPERATIONS
When one side of the tape is fully wound, the tape run di-
rection is automatically reversed, thereby obviating the
need for turning over and re-loading each individual
tape. This eliminates the need for manual tape handling.
REVERSE
MODE selector [Fig. 11]
1. Normal (=)
Sound is recorded or played back for the duration of
one side only, on either the forward or reverse side.
2. Reverse (=>)
The sound is recorded or played back in the forward
direction. At the end of the magnetic coating on the
tape, the tape automatically quick reverses and
changes sides. After sound is recorded or played
back on the reverse side, operation stops automati-
cally at the end of the tape.
When sound is recorded or played back from the
reverse side ( 4 direction), operation stops auto-
maticatly at the end of the tape.
3. Continuous (C_))
;
The tape plays continuously (changing from one
side to the next) until the STOP button is pressed.
The operation for recording is the same as when the
Reverse (=) mode is selected.
Tape-run direction indicator
This indicator shows the tape-run direction. The indica-
tor lights to clearly show which direction the tape is run-
ning.

Reverse-Betriebsarten-Wahischalter
(REVERSE MODE) [Abb. 11]
1. Normal (=)
Der Klang wird nur fir die Dauer einer Bandseite in
Vorwarts- oder Reverse-Richtung aufgenomen bzw.
wiedergegeben.
2. Reverse (=)
Der Klang wird zunachst in Vorwartsrichtung aufge-
nommen
bzw. wiedergegeben. Wenn das Bandende
(Magnetbandende) erreicht ist, erfolgt automatische
Umschaltung der Bandlaufrichtung und Seitenwech-
sel. Nachdem auch die zweite Bandseite (Reverse-
Seite) aufgenommen
bzw. wiedergegeben wurde,
stoppt der Betrieb automatisch, wenn das Bandende
(bzw. der Bandanfang) erreicht ist.
Bei Aufnahme oder Wiedergabe von der Reverse-
Seite ( ¢
- Richtung) stoppt der Betrieb automa-
tisch am Bandende.
3. Kontinuierlicher Betrieb (CD)
Das Band wird kontinuierlich wiedergegeben (mehr-
fache Umschaltung von einer Bandseite auf die
andere) bis die STOP-Taste gedrickt wird.
Das Aufnahmeverfahren ist das gleiche wie in der
Reverse-Betriebsart (=).
Bandlauf-Richtungsanzeige
Diese Anzeige markiert die Bandlaufrichtung. Die Anzei-
ge leuchtet auf, um klar anzuzeigen, in welcher Richtung
das Band lauft.
