Recording program source
You can record a program source such as a record or compact disc
onto a tape deck connected to the TAPE REC terminals.

1. Press the input selector button to select the program source that
you wish to record.
Recording a record: Press the PHONO button.
Recording a radio broadcast: Press the TUNER button.
Recording a compact disc: Press the CD button.
Recording a VCR: Press the VCR/VDP button.
2. Start recording on a tape in the tape deck
* You cannot adjust the volume and tone of the signals being
recorded using the volume and tone controls.
Dubbing from tape to tape
You can also perform dubbing using a cassette deck (tape 1)
connected to the TAPE-1 terminals or another cassette deck (tape 2)
connected to the TAPE-2 terminals.
Dubbing from tape 1 to 2
1. Press the TAPE-1 input selector button.
2. Play back a tape on tape 1 (cassette deck).
3. Operate tape 2 (cassette deck) to start recording.
Dubbing from tape 2 to tape 1
1. Press the TAPE-2/MONITOR button so that the "T-2" indicator
appears.
2. Play back a tape on tape 2 (cassette deck).
3. Operate tape 1 (cassette deck) to start recording
Playback VCR or VDP
Press the VCR/VDP button so that the "VCR" indicator appears.
Then the audio from a VCR or VDP (videodisc player) can be
reproduced through this unit.
