The inputs IN1-IN5 are optocoupled. (UIN = 18 to 27Vdc,
ZIN input impedance = 2000Ω).
The outlets OUT1-OUT3 do not have galvanic isolation
(UOUT = 24Vdc, IOUT = 300mA).
The AOK serves to separate the power circuit on the in-
put side from the regulator by means of a controlled elec-
tric contactor, if the regulator causes an error. (UMAX =
50Vdc, IMAX = 300mA).
The STO inputs are optocoupled. (UIN → signal level 0:
-3V to 5Vdc, signal level 1: 15V to 30Vdc, ZIN input imped-
ance = 4500Ω).

Using the analog voltage 0 to 10V, the speed of the motor
can be selected freely between 0 and maximum rotation
speed. Using Signal X2.24 (IN4) a rotation direction can
be selected. The rotation direction is changed according
to case 5 (see I/O time flowchart). Acceleration/delay
500ms
Due to heat generation, it is recommended to operate the
motor in continuous operation (S1) only up to 7000rpm.

In the configuration of the sequence mode, the analog
input X2.11 (AI) and X2.02 (AI GND) is without function.
Rotation speed can be selected using two sequences at
input X2.24 (IN4). The speed sequence is changed accor-
ding to case 5 (see I/O time flowchart).

The switched-on regulator causes an error if the connec-
tion to the temperature sensor is interrupted. Therefore
proceed as follows to change a tool:
1) Stop the motor (IN2 = Low, IN3 = High)
2) Deactivate the motor (IN1 = Low)
3) Change the tool
4) Acknowledge error (Pulse on IN5 (Low → High → Low))
5) Check for presence of errors (OUT = Low)
6) Activate motor (IN1 = High)
7) Start motor (IN2 = High)

Before any maintenance or servicing work,
the partly completed machinery must
have been disconnected from the power
supply for 5 minutes and secured against accidental re-
activation (e.g. with a padlock).

If despite strict observance of the manufacturing and test-
ing method the partly completed machinery should hap-
pen to fail, it must be repaired by an authorized SUHNER
