7.4 CD-Laufwerk ausbauen
Flexprinthalter, unter dem Laufwerk (Fig. 7.9), auf der Leiterplatte
lésen @ (Fig. 7.4).
SchlieBen Sie deshalb die Flexprintleitung vor dem Abziehen mit
einer BUroklammer kurz. (Fig. 7.5).
Flexprint aus Flexprinthalter ziehen @ (Fig. 7.4).
Beim Einbau darauf achten, daB die Flexprintleitung nicht ge-
knickt wird und der Fihrungsstift @ des CD-Laufwerkes in die
Fuhrungsrille des Umlenkrades 26 (Fig. 7.8) eingreift.
Beim Einsetzen der Schublade das Antriebsrad ©) (Fig. 7.7)
solange gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen wie dies leichtgangig
médglich ist (CD-Fach muB vollstandig im Magazin abgelegt sein).

7.4 Removing the CD Mechanism
Unscrew 8 screws @ (Fig. 7.6 / 7.7), disengage the cover 48 @
of the mechanism (Fig. 7.6 / 7.7) and remove it together with the
cover of the CD magazine 39 and the upper PCB.
Take out the tray 41 (see para 7.1). In doing so, take care of the
carrier (toothed rack) 50 (Fig. 7.10).
Unscrew screw (k) (Fig. 7.8) and remove the mechanism holder
15.
Open the flexprint holder @ on the PCB (Fig. 7.9) below the drive
mechanism (Fig. 7.4).
Atiention: The laser unit is very sensitive to static charges
(MOS components)!
Therefore, before disconnecting the flexprint, short-circuit the
connector with a paper clip (Fig. 7.5).
Pull the flexprint out of the holder @ (Fig. 7.4).
Remove the mechanism carefully. Note the washers () on the
holding lugs (Fig. 7.8).
When reassembling, take care not to kink the flexprint. Ensure that
the guide shaft @ of the CD mechanism engages with the guide
groove of the upper cam 26 (Fig. 7.8).
Before refitting the cover of the mechanism ensure that the cables
are routed correctly @) (Fig. 7.6).
When refitting the tray turn the gearwheel @) (Fig. 7.7) counter-
clockwise as long as it moves smoothly (the CD shelf must be
stored completely in the magazine).
