18 Disposal

Disposal of packaging materials

Sort packaging materials before disposal. Paper and cardboard with the
waste paper and plastic film in the recycled materials bin.

Disposal of the appliance

The appliance is marked with the symbol shown here in accordance with
the European Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment
2012/19/EU.
It ensures that the product is disposed of in the correct manner.
Old appliances must not be disposed of with household
waste!
Every consumer is obliged by law to dispose of waste electrical and electronic
equipment separately from the household waste (e.g. at a municipal collection
point). This ensures that waste electrical and electronic equipment is properly
recycled and negative effects on the environment are avoided.
Make appliances unserviceable before disposal:
• Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
• Cut the plug off the mains power cable.
Children can often not recognise the hazards associated with household
appliances. Ensure the necessary supervision and do not let children play with
the appliance.
