11.2 Installation for exhaust air mode

During air extraction mode, the intaken air is cleaned in the grease filter and
then discharged into the atmosphere via an exhaust air duct. An adequate supply
of fresh air must therefore be ensured at all times.
Danger!
The exhaust air must not be discharged into a chimney. The discharge of exhaust
air into a stack used for the ventilation of rooms in which there are fireplaces is
not permitted. Combustion gases drawn back into the room could result in
poisoning.
• The extractor hood must not be connected to other exhaust air ducts to
which other appliances are already connected that are operated with
power sources other than electricity (e.g. boilers, gas cookers, etc.).
• The regulations of the local authorities must always be observed for the
extraction of the exhaust air.
