13.2 Cleaning the grease filter

Clean the metal grease filter regularly every month. The frequency of cleaning
depends on the operating hours and the application of the extractor hood.

FIRE HAZARD!

Observe the filter changing and cleaning intervals. Failure to observe this may
result in fires due to accumulations of grease.
1. Push down the lock of the metal filter cassette.
2. Carefully remove the metal filter cassette.
3. Soak the filter in warm detergent solution and clean. Do not use
aggressive cleaning agents, brushes or scouring powder.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and leave to dry.
5. Replace the metal filter cassette.
6. Connect the appliance to the power supply again.
After several cleaning procedures, the colour of the filter may change. This is
normal and cannot lead to replacement of the filter under guarantee. It does not
affect the functionality of the hood in any way.
