• Due to regional and national building regulations, the operation of
extractor hoods and chimney-vented fireplaces such as coal or oil ovens
and gas water-heaters together in the same room is subject to certain
restrictions.
The exhaust air is guided into an air shaft or to the outside.
• If connected to an
air shaft, the
exhaust air hose
must not extend
too far into the
shaft.
• If the exhaust air is discharged outside the
building, fitting a ventilation flap (not included
in the scope of supply) on the outside is
recommended.
