Preparation for use
·
Remove all packaging elements and labels, but
not the rating plate.

Place the electric kettle on a dry, even, non-slip
surface.
Before initial use
·
Please read these operating instructions
carefully before using the device for the first
time and save these instructions in case you
·
want to read it again.
Boil at least once 1.7 l water at 100°C, and then
pour this away.
Safety notices for use of the
contact base / electric kettle
The appliance meets the
requirements of the applicable
EC directives.
The appliance is intended for
in door use only.
·
Do not come below the MIN marking (= 0.5 l) on
the water level display, otherwise the appliance
can not switch off properly.
·
Do not fill the electric kettle with water past the
MAX marking (= 1,7 l) on the water level display.
Scalding may result from water boiling over.
·
Always remove the electric kettle from the
contact base before filling with water.
·
This electric kettle may only be used for heating
water.
·
Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas
or electric burner.
·
Before operating the machine, make sure that
the contact base is dry.
·
Please make sure that water is never spilled on
the contact base.
·
If water is accidentally spilled onto the contact
base, proceed as follows:
– Unplug the unit from the wall socket.
– Dry the contact base with an absorbent
dry kitchen towel.
– Dry the surface beneath the contact base.
– Plug the unit into the wall socket again.
·
Never leave the appliance unattended when in
use.
·
Do not tilt the filled kettles too much towards
direction of the handle.
CAUTION!
The surface is hot during
operation. Only touch the
device at its handle.
ATTENTION!
Always unplug appliance when
not in use and before cleaning!
Touch control panel
Your electric kettle is equipped with a
temperature control and a "keep-warm"

function, controlled by a modern touch control
panel. For both a temperature in the range of
60° -100°C can be selected. The closed surface
prevents dirt, dust or water to get into the base
interior.
Operation
·
Plug the power plug into the wall socket.
·
Remove the electric kettle from the contact
base.
·
Open the lid by pressing the cover release knob
at the handle.
·
Fill the electric kettle with desired amount of
cold tap water using the water markings on the
water level display behind the handle.
·
ATTENTION: Make sure not to fill below the
MIN marking (= 0.5 l) so that the heat detector
is covered with water, otherwise the appliance
can not switch off properly.
·
ATTENTION: Make sure not to fill water past the
MAX marking (= 1,7 l) on the water level display.
Scalding may result from water boiling over.
·
Close the lid manually and place the electric
kettle anywhere on the 360° contact base.
·
Your water boiler is equipped with a temperature
control and works by touch (please see also
"Touch control panel").
·
Select the desired temperature (between
60° and 100°C) by touching it on the "Touch-
Temperature Strip". The LED display then lights
up blue to this point.
·
INFO: Water will boil at a temperature of 100°C.
·
Please observe that the water temperature
after boiling may deviate from the selected
temperature by a few degrees Celsius.
·
To switch it on, press the ON/OFF switch on the
touch panel.
·
The selection of the temperature can be made
in 10 steps: 60-70-80-90-100 °C.
·
When the water
temperature, the electric kettle will beep three
times and then switches off automatically.
·
The temperature of the water is shown in 5 degree
measures: 55-60-65-70-75-80-85-90-95-100 °C.
The LEDs of the temperature control will light
·
up afterwards.
The target temperature is flashing quickly, the
·
actual temperature is shining.
You can interrupt the boiling process at any
·
time by pushing up the ON/OFF switch again.
The target temperature can be changed during
·
boiling.
Please wait a moment until the water stops
·
bubbling.
To pour the water, lift the electric kettle from the
·
contact base.
If the kettle is put back on the base unit with
·
warm water over 55°C, the temperature
indication with the actual temperature will be
shown automatically.
IMPORTANT: Always make sure that the device
·
is switched off before removing the electric
kettle from the contact base.
NOTE: If the filled kettle tilted too much towards
·
the handle, water can run into the handle /
water level indicator construction above, and
exit at the bottom edge.
Wait a few minutes to let the device cool off
·
before filling it with water again and using it.
Do not touch the hot housing during operation.
