Handpiece Cable
While the Cavitron Handpiece Cables are designed to offer
optimum flexibility and endurance, improper handling may lead
to a shortened useful life of the cable assembly, due to excessive
wear on the wires and/or internal tubing. To prevent premature
failure of the cable assembly, please use the following steps:
1. Do not wrap the cable tightly around the Cavitron system or
any apparatus.
2. Avoid overstretching or pulling the cable.
3. If possible, minimize frequent bending/folding that exceeds
normal usage during dental procedure.
4. For detachable handpiece cables, hold by the plug body when
detaching from the Cavitron system.
5. Gently loop the cable in a continuous loose circle after each
use.
