1.5 External Electrical Interlock in the
Switchgear Cabinet (circuit examples)
A pressure monitor can also be used as a
limiter if an electrical interlock is con-
nected in series. For pressure limitation in
steam and hot water boilers, the external
interlock is permissible only if it is assured
that the pressure monitor is of "special
construction."
For electrical interlock, design circuits as
described in DIN EN 50156 / VDE 0116-1
or refer to local standards and statutory
regulations!
