board. In any case, a corresponding
computer radio system has to be used
here.
Both variants are included in the kit. Additional
parts are only required for the fitting parts for
variant 2, which you can see in the parts list,
but have to be bought separately.
First, install the bushing for the mainsail sheet
rope. This is the same for both variants.
Mark the borehole for the deck bushing 10 mm
in front of the rear edge and at a distance of
15 mm from the coaming on the wheelhouse.
Drill a hole of 3 mm through the deck at an
angle of just under 45 °.
Bend the 3 mm ABS pipe part 224 so that you
get a straight piece of 150 mm. For best re-
sults, do this over an appropriate round mate-
rial, e.g. broom handle, so that the pipe does
not snap off.
Updated June 2016
Slide the deck bushing through the deck. The
pipe should now protrude around 10 mm into
the cabin. Glue the pipe with Uhu Acrylit on to
the underside of the deck.
On the upper side of the deck, place rings of
super glue in the gap between the pipe and the
deck. Then, cut off the pipe so that it is level
with the deck and deburr the edges so that
they are clean on the inside.
Drill the hole for the mast support with a 4 mm
drill bit from below.
There are 2 versions of the bushings for the
headsail sheet ropes, depending on how you
want to control the sails.
