6.4 Installation
The product is preassembled.
7 Commissioning
Follow the steps below to carry out commissioning.
7.1 Basic requirements
Personnel qualifications
Commissioning only by qualified personnel. See
7.2 Notes on safety
To eliminate risks during commissioning, observe the notes on safety. See
g 2. Safety.
7.3 Preparation
General requirements
• Ensure that the product is not put into operation if defects have been de-
tected (accident prevention, material protection).
• Clean contaminated parts (material protection). See section g 9.3 Cleaning.
• Make sure the product is fully assembled and connected.
• Prevent dangerous erratic cylinder motions: Make sure that the cylinders are
in their end position when commissioning a system without a slow start filling
unit. For cylinders not in the end position, make sure they do not present any
danger (accident prevention, material protection).
7.4 Step-by-step commissioning
If you have carried out and completed all preparation work, you can commission
the system.
8 Operation
8.1 Basic requirements
The following points must be observed during operation.
General requirements
• Do not touch the product or any connected parts during operation (accident
prevention).
• Never switch off, modify or bypass safety devices.
Service
• Carry out service work in the designated time intervals. See g 9. Service.
In case of malfunctions during operation

Notes
• Check the filling level regularly.
• During long-term operation, the condensate may exceed the maximum filling
level and enter the compressed air system. This may result in damage to the
compressed air system (material protection).
• Drain condensate manually when the condensate has reached the maximum
filling level.
• Do not discharge condensate into the environment in an uncontrolled man-
ner.
8.2 Option: Manual condensate drain
The condensate can be drained manually.
