8. Cutting variants
Rebate cut

Straight cut (rip and cross cut)
• Lay the foam board on the bearing rails (3),
• Pull out the cutting bow (2),
• Slide the foam board to the left up to the cutting dimension (required board width - can be read off on
the measuring scale of the bearing rail (3)) and then guide the cutting bow gently through the foam
board.
• The board can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the bearing rail (3) to enable rip or cross
cutting.
Mitre cut
• Transfer the mitre angle from the object to the foam board by measuring or using a sliding bevel (code
no. 36 82 00 - not included in the scope of delivery),
• Fold out the mitre gauge (6) to the front; position the board on the bearing rail (3),
• Loosen the fastening screws (7)
• Swivel the cutting bow (2) to the right until the mitre gauge (6) on the cutting bow (2) lines up with the
mark on the foam board. Retighten the upper and bottom fastenings screws (7).
Bevel cut
• Transfer the roof pitch to the foam board by measuring or using a sliding bevel (code no. 36 82 00 -
not included in the scope of delivery) and position the board on the bearing rail (3).
• Pull out the cutting bow, loosen the fastening screw (10) for the bearing rail and raise the support (3)
with the foam board until the wire of the cutting bow lines up with the mark on the foam board.
• Fasten the fastening screw (10) and guide the cutting wire through the board.
Mitre/bevel cut
This cut is executed in the same way as a mitre cut and bevel cut. The panel can also be mitred when
executing the bevel cut.
Rebate and section cut-outs
• Transfer the rebate dimensions to the foam board and position the
board on the bearing rail (3).
• Pull out the cutting bow (2) to the desired rebate dimension and hold
the bow in place. Push the board to the desired mark and pull the
cutting bow back out of the board.
