Overview

The Interspiro positioning belt Inposition PB1500 replaces the standard waist
belt for Interspiro's QS II series of breathing apparatus and is fully integrated in
the design of the apparatus.
Inposition PB1500 is manufactured of Kevlar webbing of the same material as
used for Interspiro QS II SCBA and utilizes metal clasps. The positioning belt
has two D rings on the side that may be used for a support line.
The positioning belt is designed to take up a greater load than a standard waist
belt. The positioning belt is tested and certified according to and EN 358
(positioning belt) and EN 137 for SCBA (firefighting). Hence a QS II breathing
apparatus equipped with the positioning belt can be used following the same
routines as sets with a standard waist belt.
WARNING
Design load limit for the belt is 15 kN.
WARNING
The Inposition PB1500 positioning belt is used ONLY FOR
POSITIONING during work, to maintain a comfortable working
position and prevent falls from height. Before starting work,
make sure that this product is compatible with your other
equipment. The equipment should not be submitted to a fall
and the shock of the fall. This is not a fall arrest device!
