Preparation

Remove standard hip belt

1. Slide the hip belt up to size "S".
2. Push in the detachment tool into the track in the backplate.
3. With the detachment tool in position - slide the hip belt up and off the
backplate.
4. For older pivot arms only: Remove the upper end of the adjusting straps
from the shoulder buckles.
5. Remove the lower end of the adjusting straps from the pivot arms.

Install Inposition hip belt

1. Put the hip belt into the track in the backplate.
2. Press the size adjustment buttons together and slide the hip belt down.
3. Put the the lower end of the adjusting straps into the pivot arms.
4. For older pivot arms only: Twist the upper end of the adjusting straps one
half turn and put them into the shoulder buckles.
NOTICE
Correctly installed adjustment straps are not twisted when the
harness is worn.
