4) Using the fixing rings (fig. 14)
On each side of the pelvic belt there is a fixing ring
to EN 358 for fixing a lanyard (to EN 354 or EN 358)
for positioning or retention functions.
In the middle at the front there is a fixing ring to EN
813 for connecting a lanyard (to EN 354 or EN 358)
or a positioning rope (as needed for positioning by
the equipment used). It can be used for positioning
at the place of work when working in a hanging
position where there is a hold for the feet.

5) How to choose an anchoring point
According to EN 795, the anchoring device (anchor-
ing point) for personal protection equipment must
withstand a force of 10kN or satisfy the require-
ments of the user instructions of the positioning
system used. The anchoring point should always
be above the user.
WARNING:
The lanyard must be located and/or adjusted such
that the anchoring point is at or about the height
of the waist.
The lanyard for positioning harnesses must be
kept tight, and free movement must be limited to
a maximum of 0.6 m. It must not pass over sharp
edges. During use, the fixing and/or adjustment
elements must be checked regularly.

It specifies the maximum recommended load in new
condition with 7-fold security. The gear loops must
not be used for personal safety.
3. LIMITATIONS OF USE

The design of this hardness means that it is not
suitable for use as part of a fall arrest system. Do
fixing ring to EN 813
not use this hardness for carrying out work if your
physical condition could impair your safety during
normal use or in an emergency. Any changes or
additions to the product are forbidden without the
prior written consent of the manufacturer.
SUSPENSION TRAUMA
Hanging immobile in suspension in a harness for
longer periods of time (for example, in cases of
unconsciousness) may cause one's blood flow to
be restricted and eventually lead to a so-called
suspension trauma (also known as harness hang
syndrome).
MORTAL DANGER! – Call EMERGENCY SERVICES
immediately! Possible symptoms include paleness of
the skin, excessive perspiration, shortness of breath,
impaired vision, dizziness, and nausea (This list is
incomplete, as symptoms may vary considerably
from one person to another).
Persons suffering from such symptoms should
therefore, provided that they are still able to, take
appropriate measures themselves in order to keep
the blood from pooling in their legs (e.g. by moving
the legs or by taking the weight off the leg loops, for
