12.2 SDO Error codes
In the case of an error (SDO response CCD = 0x80) the data field contains a 4-byte
error code. By the measuring system the following error codes are supported:
Error code Meaning
0x0600 0006
0x0601 0000
0x0609 0011
0x0800 0000

Cause
Voltage supply absent or was
fallen below
Bus hood not correctly connected
and screwed on
Bus hood defective
Hardware fault,
measuring system defective
CAN bus not connected
≠
Encoder baud rate
Bus baud rate
No allocation to a master
-
exchanged CAN lines
-
interrupted CAN lines
-
duplicated NODE-ID in the
network
Measuring system ready for
operation
EE-PROM error
Unsupported access to an object
Sub-index does not exist
General error
TR - ECE - BA - DGB - 0038 - 05
Remedy
-
Check voltage supply wiring
-
Does the voltage supply is in the permitted
range?
Check bus hood for correct fitting
Replace bus hood
Replace measuring system
CAN_IN interchanged with CAN_OUT?
Adjust the correct baud rate by means of the DIP
switches
-
Adjusted baud rate must agree with the master
baud rate!
-
Check CAN lines
-
Make sure that each NODE-ID is present only
once in the network
-
Remedy
Possibly shut-off measuring system voltage then
switch on again. If the error recurs despite this
measure, the measuring system must be replaced.
Check which attribute for the corresponding object
is valid:
- rw: read- and write access
- wo: write only access
- ro: read only access
- Const: read only access
Overview of the objects see Table 6 and Table 7 on
page 90 and 97.
Check which sub-indices the corresponding object
supports.
