3.2 Pure Tone presentation

To send the tone stimulus to the patient, you must use these three commands:
Signal: Touch the silent Signal switch; because it is a soft-touch switch, there is no need to press on it.
Level: Rotate the left knob (dB) to increase or decrease the level of the stimulus.
Frequency: Rotate the right knob (Hz) to select different frequencies. Please note that only activated
frequencies can be used. See point 5.2 on this manual.

3.3 Function buttons

R/L: With this button you can select which ear you deliver the stimulus.
The display shows the selected setting.
INPUT: This button is used to select between stead, pulsed or warble tone presentation.
You can select different modulation rates for the Pulsed tone; see point 5.2 on this manual.
On the bottom right side of the display a symbol will be shown to identify the selected
tone presentation modality:
TALK FORWARD: Pressing this button will activate the talk forward communication with
the patient. This option is useful when you have to instruct the patient. The display shows
the talk forward level that can be adjusted rotating the one of the two knobs (Frequency
or Level).
To exit from this function, press the Talk Forward button again.
ON-OFF: This is a multifunction switch. When the device is off, to turn on the audiometer,
press on this switch. The same operation can be made when the device is on; to switch off
the device keep pressed this switch for a few seconds.
To avoid loss of any data, be sure to store the latest tests results before switch off the
device.
Once on the device, this switch allows to access main menu.

Steady:
F1- F2: These two soft keys are used to perform different actions. Depending
from the active menu, the two soft keys can be used for exit, select or store the
selected function.
