POST INSTALLATION CHECKS
Perform the following post installation checks to verify installation
integrity on PMLN6432, PMLN6433, PMLN6434 & PMLN6431
Vehicular Charger Kit:

1 Insert the TETRA
Handportable Terminal
into the cradle.
2 Turn ignition key to ON.
TROUBLESHOOTING
This paragraph provides typical malfunctions that can occur during
the first operation of the PMLN6432, PMLN6433, PMLN6434 and
PMLN6431 Vehicular Charger Kit. The paragraph also suggests
corrective actions.
Prior to troubleshooting the malfunction, verify the following:
• Your TETRA Handportable Terminal functions properly outside
the cradle.
• The cable to the cradle is properly connected.

Connection established and

The TETRA Handportable
Terminal displays an icon of the
battery in charging mode only if
the TETRA Handportable
Terminal is ON when
connecting to the vehicular
Charger/Holder. If the TETRA
Handportable Terminal is OFF,
the display shows an icon of the
battery in charging mode and a
"CHARGER MODE" message
appears.
