HOLD THE CHAIN SAW CORRECTLY
Always maintain a firm footing and good
balance. Stand with both feet firmly on
the ground.
Never work above shoulder height.
Never use the chain saw from a ladder,
tree or other unstable place.
Do not overreach.
Do not use the chain saw in bad weather
or in the dark.
Watch out for obstructions in the work
area.
Always hold the chain saw firmly with
both hands in accordance with these
instructions.
Hold the bow handle with the left
hand.
Hold the handle with the right hand.

STARTING
1.
Hold the chain saw firmly with both
hands. Keep onlookers, especially children
and pets at a safe distance from the work
area.
2.
Check before starting that the chain brake
is not applied by pulling the kickback
handle towards the bow handle.

Press in the power switch lock (3).
4.
Press the power switch (2). The chain saw
starts.
5.
Release the power switch lock button (3).

WARNING!
Check that the chain is not touching the ground
or any object when starting the chain saw.

Release the power switch (2).

DISPLAY OF BATTERY CHARGE
Press the button on the battery to see the
battery charge with the status lights.

NOTE:
The status light go off after 5 seconds. The
battery needs charging if the status lights
flash. If no status lights go on when the
button is pressed the battery is defective and
must be replaced.
SAFE SAWING
Check the work area and remove any
objects that can interfere with the work.
Always check that the chain saw is in safe
condition before use.
Hold the chain saw firmly with both hands
in accordance with the instructions.
Start the chain saw before bringing the
chain against the tree.
Press the bar smoothly against the tree.
Do not press too hard.
NOTE:
If the chain comes into contact with a foreign
object, or if the chain saw starts to make a
noise or vibrate abnormally. Switch off the
saw and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped. Remove the battery and
take the following steps:
Check the saw for any damage.
Check and tighten any loose parts.
Repair any damaged parts or replace
them with parts of the same type.
AFTER USE
Switch off the chain saw and wait until all
moving parts have completely stopped before
putting it down. The chain continues to move
for a short while after releasing the power
switch.
