ASSEMBLY
IMPORTANT:
Do not put in the battery before the chain
saw is fully assembled and adjusted. Wear
safety gloves when working on the chain
saw. Unpack the chain saw and check that all
the parts are included and undamaged.
UNPACKING
•
Remove all parts from the packaging.
•
Remove all packaging materials and any
transport protection.
•
Check that no parts are missing.
•
Check that the chain saw and accessories
are undamaged.
•
If possible save the packaging until the
warranty has expired.
NOTE:
Do not allow children to play with the
packaging material. Keep plastic bags, plastic
film and small parts out of the reach of
children – risk of suffocation.
FITTING THE BAR AND CHAIN
1.
Place the chain saw on a level, stable surface.
2.
Undo the screws for the chain guard with
the socket spanner (21).

Remove the chain guard and turn the
chain tensioner knob clockwise to move
the guide bar as close to the sprocket as
possible.

4.
Put the chain round the bar, starting on
the top of the bar. Put the chain in the slot
on bar. Check that direction of movement
is correct.

5.
Put the bar with the oblong hole over the
knob to tension the chain and the chain
guard screw on the motor part.
