GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR POWER TOOLS
IMPORTANT:

Read all the warnings, safety instructions
and other instructions carefully before
use and familiarise yourself with the
controls on the product and how to use
them, their applications, limits and
potential risks. This information is readily
available in the literature on the subject.
It is recommended to undertake a
suitable training course.

Failure to follow all the instructions and
safety instructions can result in a risk of
electric shock, fire and/or serious
personal injury.
•
Save all warnings and instructions for
future reference.
•
The term "power tool" in all the
warnings below refers to mains-
powered (corded) or battery-powered
(cordless) power tools.

The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for any damage to, or
caused by, the product in the following
situations:

Incorrect/unsuitable use.
–
Failure to follow these instructions.
–
If repairs are carried out by
non-qualified personnel.
–
If spare parts other than original
spare parts are used.
–
If the product is used for anything
other than the purpose it is
intended for.

Never allow children, or anyone who is
unfamiliar with the product and these
instructions, to use it. The product is only
be used and maintained in accordance
with these instructions and by qualified
personnel. There may be local
regulations for using the product.

In addition to these instructions, you
must always comply with the applicable
regulations and laws concerning health,
safety and the environment, as well as
good practice for working with wood
processing machines.

The product is not intended to be used by
persons (children or adults) with any form
of functional disorders, or by persons who
do not have sufficient experience or
knowledge on how to use it, unless they
have received instructions concerning the
use of the product from someone who is
responsible for their safety. Keep children
under supervision to make sure they do
not play with the product.
•
Switch off the product and wait until all
moving parts have completely stopped
before putting it down.
•
Switch off the product before transporting
it.
•
Do not use the product if a handle or safety
device is dismantled or damaged. Do not
use the product if it is not fully assembled.
•
Do not dismantle the product or attempt
to modify or repair it – risk of personal
injury and/or material damage. The
manufacturer cannot accept liability for
personal injury or material damage
resulting from modifications to the
product that have not been approved by
the manufacturer.
•
Only use spare parts recommended by the
manufacturer. Remove the battery before
changing accessories and/or spare parts.
Fit accessories and/or spare parts in
accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
•
Hold the product firmly with both hands and
point the bar away from the body. Check
that the chain is not touching the ground or
an object when starting the product.
NOTE:
The product is not intended for commercial
or industrial use. Commercial or professional
use will invalidate the warranty.
