Scan Method and Parameter
In scan mode the transceiver will scan every channel, when a signal has been detected on a
channel, the scanner will pause and wait until the signal disappears. With the PC software the delay
time for scanner restart can be selected.
This delay time can delay the scanner restart, so that you are able to listen to the answering
stations as well, if they do not wait too long. After the selected delay time is over, the scanning will
restart again. Factory setting for the delay time is 3 seconds
Start normal scanning

Long press [SCAN] about 2 seconds to start scanning.

Scanning starts from current channel, yellow light flashes

When a signal which matches the programmed CTCSS / DCS type is received, the yellow
light will stay on and the speaker will be on- you hear the communication

Press [SCAN] key to exit the scan state.
Priority scan
Two kinds of priority scanning can be programmed:
a. Set a certain fixed channel as priority scan channel (Note: this channel can not be empty) or
b. Set the just selected channel as priority scan channel (current working channel is the selected
channel).
