3.14 ANI Automatic number Identification
This radio can be programmed with ANI function to allow ID identification by a distant other radio.


Press [MENU] to enterΝintoΝsettingΝ,firstΝlineΝisΝ"ρζIΝIτ", next line shows the current ANI
code.

Press [MENU] to confirm storing and return, or press [*/BAND] to exit without changes.
Note: When this function is used, user should be aware that after pressing PTT, the radio Code will
be transmitted at first, before the Mic audio will start.
3.15 Edit ANI Code
TheΝρζIΝcodesΝofΝthisΝradioΝcontainΝγΝdigits,ΝwhereΝtheΝfirstΝdigitΝisΝalwaysΝaΝ"group"ΝnumberΝandΝtheΝ
second & third digit are a number from 01-80.
1. θressΝ[εEζU],thenΝpressΝ[Uθ]orΝ[τηWζ]ΝtoΝselectΝ"ρζIΝSET"έ
2. Press [MENU] to enter setting, firstΝlineΝisΝ"ρζIΝSET", next line shows ANI code and the first
code flashes.
3. First digit is the group number. Then press [UP] or [DOWN] to select 0-9.
4. After editing first digit ,then press [#] to edit the second and third digits as ID .The number
range is 01-80 (for example if ID is 01 ,the second digit is 0 and the third digit is 1 ).
5. Press [MENU] to confirm storing the settings and return, or press [*/BAND] to exit without
changes.
Note: If want to delete or edit former digit, press [#] till the digit which you want to modify flashes.
Now you can modify the flashing digit.
