It may be a method to ask for help when outgoing for some activities, but not usually among radio
amateurs. It is better to save Call as "CURREN"ΝΥνΝdisplayΝreadingΝforΝ"current frequency") instead
of channel 01, because then it can be better used to open repeaters as described already.
4.5 FM broadcast radio listening
1. Press and hold [MONITOR/FM] for more than 2 seconds to enter FM Broadcast mode.
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to adjust the broadcast frequency (Range 87.0～108.0MHz,
with 100KHZ steps). Long press [UP]or [DOWN] to choose frequency.
3. Press [MONITOR/FM] again for more than 2 seconds to exit FM broadcast mode.
 You can keep the 2 way radio working in the background when still in FM broadcast receive
mode: If an incoming signal is detected on your communication radio channel, the broadcast
radio will be interrupted.
 Under broadcast radio mode: Press MR to enter storing up to 16 broadcast radio channels
FM broadcast radio scanning & storing

Under FM mode, press [MENU] ,then [MR] button to scan the whole frequency range

Start from the current frequency: Press [UP] to scan from low to high or press [DOWN] to
scan from high to low .

Scanner stops at the next frequency with a signal is detected.

Press [UP] or [DOWN] to keep scanning ,or press others buttons to quit.
