10 Storage and Shipping

10.1

Storing Trolley and Handles

Procedure
Cleaning Trolley and Handles.

Store the system according to the ambient conditions (see Chapter 12.4,

page 44).

10.2 Returning the System and Parts

Defective parts can be returned to Sartorius. Returned parts must be clean,
decontaminated, and properly packed.
Transport damage as well as measures for subsequent cleaning and disin-
fection of the parts by Sartorius shall be charged to the sender.
Parts contaminated with hazardous materials, e.g., harmful biological or
chemical substances, will not be accepted for repair or disposal.

Pack the parts properly for return.

Disposal

11.1

Disposing of the System and Parts

The system and its accessories must be disposed of properly by disposal
facilities.
Requirements
The system is decontaminated.
Procedure
Dispose of the system parts in accordance with local government regula-

tions.
Dispose of the packaging in accordance with local government regula-

tions.
