Stabilising bracket
If your vehicle does not offer an Isofix connection, the stabilising bar can be used as
an alternative.
The stabilising bar is pushed from behind into the receptacle under the seat plate. (Fig.
62) Loosely screw the enclosed 4 cap screws (2 on each side) into the receptacle so
that the stabilising bar can still be moved. (Fig. 64)
Determine the required position of the stabilising bar: To do this, place the seat in the
vehicle and guide the stabilising bar between the seat surface and the backrest of the
vehicle seat. The backrest of the Hercules Small must have as much contact as pos-
sible with the backrest of the vehicle. Mark the desired position at the junction of the
stabilising bar and the receptacle under the seat plate.
Take the Hercules Small out of the vehicle again and fix the stabilising bar in the
marked position.
The stabilising bar can also be used upside down, depending on the vehicle seat. To
do this, mount the bracket with the bend either upwards or downwards. (Fig. 64)
Second belt guide, top
A second upper belt guide can be fitted for flexible use on different car seats. (Fig. 6)
The vehicle's 3-point safety belt can be used on the right or left side of the car seat
without having to change the upper belt guide first. For more information on fitting,
see "Changing the side upper belt guide".
Car seat protector with back
The car seat protector with back protects your car seat from damage or paint abrasion
by the Hercules Small, which could possibly occur when using the swivel function or
during driving.
First fit the car seat protector to your vehicle seat before fitting the Hercules Small in
the vehicle.
Original fabric (for special construction)
If further support in special construction is required for the user, the original fabric
can be requested.
