If the footrest is not at the appropriate height for the user, loosen the set screws of the
footrest on both sides. Adjust to the appropriate height for the user and retighten the
set screws. (Fig. 61)
Support foot
The support leg provides support for the Hercules Small in the footwell of the vehicle.
The support foot is pushed from the front into the receptacle under the seat plate. (Fig.
58) Adjust the depth of the support foot to the seat in the vehicle. Screw the support
leg to the sides under the seat plate with the enclosed 2 Cap screws (1 per side).

The red eccentric levers on both sides can be used to set the desired angle. Make sure
that the eccentric levers point downwards after the adjustment. (Fig. 60)
Select the height of the lower cross-connection so that it supports the Hercules Small
securely in the footwell of the vehicle. The height can be adjusted using the side
screws. (Fig. 61)
Seatfix adapter
The Seatfix adapter ensures a firm connection with the vehicle.
Note: Prerequisite for the use of the Seatfix adapter is an existing ISOFIX equipment of
the vehicle. This must be checked before purchase!
The Seatfix adapter is pushed from behind into the receptacle under the seat plate.
(Fig. 63) Loosely screw the enclosed 4 cap screwss (2 on each side) into the recepta-
cle so that the Seatfix adapter can still be moved. (Fig. 63)
Determine the required position of the Seatfix adapter: To do this, place the seat
in the vehicle and insert the Seatfix connectors (with yellow release) into the Isofix
anchors of the vehicle. Pull to check that the connectors are securely engaged. The
backrest of the Hercules Small must have as much contact as possible with the back-
rest of the vehicle. Mark the desired position at the junction of the Seatfix adapter and
the receptacle under the seat plate.
Now loosen the Seatfix connectors and remove the Hercules Small from the vehicle
again. Fix the Seatfix adapter in the marked position with the four cap screws
