Rotation function
With the swivel function, the Hercules Small can be turned to open the vehicle door.
This makes it easier to get in and out of the Hercules Small.
To turn the Hercules Small, press the red release button (Fig. 38) and turn the seat
towards the open vehicle door. When turning back, make sure that the trigger audibly
engages with a "click".

The rotation function can also be retrofitted. Changing the direction of rotation (to
the right or left) is also possible. However, the assembly is quite complex and must be
carried out very carefully by an instructed and qualified person! It is therefore recom-
mended to use the pre-assembly option (right or left can be selected when ordering).
The screw connections are provided with a screw lock. Therefore, the screws must be
heated before loosening. Each screw connection must then be provided with a screw
lock again (Loctite®).

Attention: If the vehicle seat does not have a straight support surface for the position-
ing seat, the accessory "cushion for function plate" is strongly recommended.
The seat surface of the Hercules Small must rest on as large a surface as possible,
especially when using the swivel function.
Cushion for functional plate
If your vehicle does not provide a straight support surface for the Hercules Small, this
can lead to damage to the vehicle seat, especially when using the swivel function.
The cushion for functional panels reduces this risk by compensating for the shape of
the vehicle seat and thus providing a large-surface support surface for the Hercules
Small.
Place the cushion for function panels under the Hercules Small on the vehicle seat.

Caution: The use of the cushion may increase the overall height of the Hercules Small.
Before driving, check whether there is still sufficient space to the car headliner. A
distance of approx. 20 cm between the upper edge of the positioning seat and the
headliner is recommended.
