Connection
Before starting up for the first time check all
connections.
Power supply
For connection to a power supply, a 24 V power supply
unit and suitable cables (0.35...2.5 mm²) are required.

LAN-Port
LAN-Port A can be used to connect an IO-Link sensor
node (such as the Balluff IO-Link Master), which in turn can
be connected to sensors that can be used for monitoring
during format changeover.
Startup
The device starts automatically after power is applied.
In the delivery state, the device is configured as a DHCP
client on LAN-Port A and as a DHCP server on LAN-
Port B. The DHCP server has the gateway IP 192.168.10.1
and the IP range 192.168.10.100-149.
NOTICE
Network disturbance
If the device is connected to a network via LAN-Port B,
this can lead to problems or even a network failure
because this is permanently configured as a DHCP
server.
► Use Port A to connect to an existing network, either
in DHCP client mode or with a static IP.
The operation of the software is described in the
configuration guide.
If an IO-Link sensor node is to be used, it must be located
in one of the two network options of the device.
► Integrate the device into a network via LAN-Port A and/
or B or set up a network.
Note that LAN-Port A can be configured as
DHCP client or with a static IP. LAN-Port B has
a pre-configured DHCP server, this is not
configurable.
