Startup / Operation

Intended use
The appliance is intended for private/household use.
It is suitable for cooling perishable foods such as
milk, dairy products, meat, fish, eggs, margarine,
various spreads and fruit and vegetables that are not
sensitive to cold.
This cooling unit is not suitable for freezing food!
Prior to first use
CAUTION:
After transport, the appliance should be left standing
upright for four hours before connecting to the power
supply. Nonobservance could lead to malfunction of
the cooling system and causes an appliance break-
down.
Clean the appliance interior including all accessory
parts. Consider the instructions which we provide in
"Cleaning and maintenance".

Starting the appliance
• Connect the appliance to the power supply.
• Set the operating conditions. See also the follow-
ing sections.
Operating overview
NOTE:
Approximately 2 minutes after the last key is
pressed, the display goes into standby mode.
This is terminated after pressing the keys or opening
the appliance door.

Temperature setting
Press the FRIDGE button several times to set the
desired internal temperature in the range from +2°C
to +8°C.
The display shows the temperature selection.
Super cooling function
Press the SUPER button to activate the super cool-
ing function.
The corresponding symbol indicates the activation.
When the super cooling function is activated, the
appliance operates at maximum power (+2°C) to
accelerate the cooling process.
The super cooling function switches off automatically
after approx. 3 hours. The internal temperature ad-
justs to the preset temperature.
The function can be terminated at any time before
the switch-off time has elapsed by pressing the SU-
PER button.
Vacation mode
CAUTION:
Do not store fresh or perishable food in the appliance
during this time.
If you are going to be absent for a longer period of
time, you can set the appliance to vacation mode.
Keep pressing the VACATION button for about
3 seconds to activate the vacation mode.
During this period, the cooling chamber is cooled
down to only +17°C. This not only saves energy, but
