15. RECORDING AND MANAGING MEASURED
VALUES
The VC880 digital multimeter with its data logging function provides the option of recording up to 1000 measured values.
To store measured values, proceed as follows:
- Keep the "SHIFT/SETUP" button pressed for approx. 2 s with the meter switched on. This top left of the display
indicates "SHIFT". You are now in "SHIFT" mode.
- Now press the "SAVE" button to save the currently measured value.
- To save another value, press "MAX/MIN" again.
- To leave "SHIFT" mode, press "SHIFT/SETUP".
To store measured values every second, proceed as follows:
- Keep the "SHIFT/SETUP" button pressed for approx. 2 s with the meter switched on. This top left of the display
indicates "SHIFT". You are now in "SHIFT" mode.
- Keep the "SAVE" button pressed for approx. 2 s to start the recording. The device now stores one measured val-
ue per second. The symbol "MEM" flashes.
- Keep the "SAVE" button pressed again for approx. 2 s to stop the recording.
- Keep the "SAVE" button pressed again for approx. 2 s to continue the recording.
- To leave "SHIFT" mode, press "SHIFT/SETUP".
View stored measured values:
- Keep the "SHIFT/SETUP" button pressed for approx. 2 s with the meter switched on. This top left of the display
indicates "SHIFT". You are now in "SHIFT" mode.
- Now press the "LOAD" button. "MR" appears in the display.
- Navigate through the individual recordings by pressing "+" or "-".
- To leave "SHIFT" mode, press "SHIFT/SETUP".
Delete stored measured values:
- Keep the "SHIFT/SETUP" button pressed for approx. 2 s with the meter switched on. This top left of the display
indicates "SHIFT". You are now in "SHIFT" mode.
- Keep the "LOAD" button pressed for approx. 2 s. The display "CLR" appears and the number of measured values
stored returns to zero.
- To leave "SHIFT" mode, press "SHIFT/SETUP".
