The following symbols and indications are visible on the device or in the display.

Go to relative value measurement and set relative value (not possible for
DC and NCV)
Zero adjustment for DC measuring range (A-DC only)
Delta symbol for relative value measurement (= display relative value)
Overload indicator; the measuring range was exceeded
Battery charge state symbol for full batteries; number of bars reduced
with failing battery charge state. Replace the batteries immediately to
prevent measuring errors when no bars are left!
