Functional Problem
• The buckle tongues can no longer be in-
serted into the buckle housing.
Remedy
Unlock the buckle 17 by pushing the red
release button 18.
Checklist for correct securing of
your child
For the safety of your child, check that:
• the belts of the child seat are close to
the body, without restricting the child.
• the shoulder belts are adjusted correct-
ly (see Adjusting the shoulder belts
page 47).
• the shoulder pads lie correctly on the
child's body.
• the belts are not twisted.
• the buckle tongues are engaged in the
buckle housing.
Sitting/resting/sleeping -
adjustable seat shell
The seat shell can be adjusted to 3 posi-
tions (sitting/resting/sleeping).
1. From sitting to sleeping: push the ad-
justing handle 23 up and pull the seat
shell forwards.
2. From sleeping to sitting: push the ad-
justing handle 23 up and press the
seat shell backwards.
The seat shell must firmly engage in each
position. Double check by pulling on the
seat shell.
DUO plus child seat
General instructions
• The protective effect of this child safe-
ty seat is only assured provided it is
used and installed in accordance with
the directions for use.
• If you have any difficulty using the child
safety seat, please contact the manu-
facturer.
• The child car seat is designed, tested
and approved in accordance with the
requirements of the European and Chi-
nese standard for child safety devices
(ECE R 44/04 and GB 27887-2011).
The E certification symbol, the approval
number and the certification symbol
CCC can be found on the approval
labels (sticker on the child car seat).
• No modifications may be made to the
child safety seat other than by the
manufacturer. If modifications are
made, the official approval is no longer
valid.
• The DUO plus may only be used to se-
cure your child in the vehicle. It is in no
way suitable as a seat or toy in the
home.
