Securing TopTether
1. Open the spring hook 24 by pressing
with your thumb against the spring clip.
2. Attach the spring hook 24 to the ap-
propriate anchorage point (on the par-
cel shelf, on the rear of the backrest or
on the floor behind the backrest) - see
vehicle manual.
3. Tighten the strap 26 of TopTether until
the green tension indicator 35 is visi-
ble and TopTether lies against it tight-
ly.
Checklist for correct installation
For the safety of your child, check that:
• the child seat is firmly installed in the
vehicle.
• the seat shell is engaged with the con-
nectors in the ISOFIX fastening on both
sides.
• TopTether is pulled tight over the back-
rest of the vehicle seat.
Removing
1. To release the ISOFIX fastening,
squeeze the green locking button 5
and the red release button 6 together,
first on one side, then on the other.
The connectors 3 are disengaged.
2. To release the TopTether anchoring
loosen the belt 26 by lifting the metal
tongue 27 of the adjuster away from
the belt. Then take the spring hook 24
out of the anchoring point.
DUO plus child seat
Without ISOFIX fastening (universal)
After adjusting the shoulder belts (see Ad-
justing the shoulder belts page 47) place
the child seat into the vehicle seat. Fasten
the child seat with the vehicle lap-shoulder
belt as follows:
1. Push the ISOFIX connectors 3 at the
green lever 2 completely into the seat
base.
